Why I Started this Blog and Background
A Toastmaster friend of mine suggested that I try projects that I was unlikely to do. It's a great place to talk about the problems that I've run into along my Pathways journey as well as the benefits that I see from it. I originally started Pathways because I was helping my friend and fellow Toastmaster out as an Assistant Division Director and wanted to be able to help the clubs and its members out as much as possible. After realizing that I could be a good Division Director, I was convinced to apply to become one and was ultimately elected to the position. Since I joined prior to the launch of Pathways in my home region, I'm still working on the Traditional Education Program (sometimes called the Legacy Education Program), while I'm working on Pathways. I earned my Distinguished Toastmaster Award (DTM) in May 2018, days before the Spring 2018 Conference that I led. I recently completed my Leadership Development Level 4.
